DM Electrotechnical Services Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is an electrical contractor based in Swanley, Kent, serving London and Kent. We are a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17251066), with our registered office at 114 Northview, Swanley BR8 7BH, and we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

We only collect the information we need to provide our services:

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and property address, when you call, email, or message us on WhatsApp to ask for a quote or book work. The enquiry form on our contact page composes a WhatsApp message on your own device — the details you type are sent to us through WhatsApp and are not stored on our website or servers.
• Job details — information about your property and the electrical work required, so we can quote accurately and carry out the work safely.
• Payment information — records of quotes, invoices and payments. When you pay online, your card details are entered directly on Worldpay's secure payment page — we never see or store your card number.
• Certification records — details required on electrical certificates (such as your name and the installation address) for work we certify and notify to Building Control.

Our website does not have user accounts and does not store your enquiry details on our servers, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

• To provide quotes and carry out electrical work you've asked for (performance of a contract).
• To issue electrical certificates and notify Building Control through our NAPIT registration where required (legal obligation).
• To take payments and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
• To respond to your enquiries and stay in touch about your job (legitimate interests).

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing lists.

• Worldpay — processes online card payments on our behalf. Their handling of your card details is governed by their own privacy policy.
• Clearpay and Klarna — if you choose to pay through them, you deal with them directly under their own terms and privacy policies.
• NAPIT and Building Control — for certification and notification of notifiable electrical work.
• Professional advisers — such as our accountant, where required for legal and tax obligations.

We never share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

We keep electrical certificates, invoices and related records for at least six years, as required for certification, insurance and tax purposes. Enquiry details that don't lead to work are not kept longer than necessary.

This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Links to third-party sites (such as WhatsApp or Facebook) take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
